First lunch. Yong Peng fish ball at the corner of Jalan Malaka Raya. they claimed to be very famous from the looks of published newpapers around. But.....?food portion is small and i think its expansive for a meal that quantity.?
?Nevertheless, hunger is satisfied for round 1.I like their green coffee. Not green in colour, but when you drink it u feel greener. There's a taste of green there.?
Day 2, Jonker Walk. from A to Z u find all sorts of food. main course, desserts, appetizer. Food haven. When you come Malacca, one food you shouldn't miss is the chicken rice ball. And there's one?in-obvious?stall with an obviously freaking long queue. [Illustration below shows the time when there's less people. When we exited after lunch, the queue was until the?road sign, which is approximately 5 times this current queue.]
There you go. Trust me. the food taste WAY better than it looked. For the chilli, thumbs up for aces! Price-wise.... I would say its worth the money.
I bought this muachi cause a kid prepared it. Taste fine, not very sweet, but the peanuts are a bit coarse.
Famously known for her durian craze, someone manage to find the ultimate durian products. 100% effective in chasing bugs in your car and swear never returned for the rest of their life.If you fall into that category as well, congratulation. The durian ice-cream and puff is a must-try. There's durian pancake at the night as well. Looks alike normal pancakes, but the degree of threat is much higher than normal pancake with corn.Cendol with gula melaka, and DURIAN. [you may skip this if you prefer normal cendols. they sell those too and with a fine tune of taste.]
Now would you like yourself getting honked by cars cause you stopped and buy soya? They will.
Satay celup Capitol doesn't open until evening. So we decided to head back and rest before start our food hunt for the night. We were warned to be there on time when it opens. And guess what? This is the punishment for being HALF AN HOUR LATE.
In the end we ate satay celup at another shop few units away (which the outer part are filled with people who was waiting to eat Capitol's). The shop was empty. We were the pioneer that led more people into their shop (but they never gave us discount T.T)
Presenting, satay celup. Its like typical lok-lok. However, instead of normal clear/tomyam/curry soup, u cook your food in hot steaming peanut gravy. I never had the patience to wait for capitol, so i couldn't make any comparison. Conclusion however, I was satisfied. The night was filled with too many foods and goods until i forget i'm suppose to blog about it >.<. Nevertheless, still managed to took some photo..?
Potato tornado, i called it. Only seen that in Jonker, and a lot of people are selling it. The process is almost similar, the that the dressing or recipe might vary by a bit. Crispy and heaty, i drank a whole bottle of mineral water instantly after finishing this.?
Dinner/Supper. Laksa at one corner where plenty of food and drinks are being sold. Finally a place to SIT and EAT. However, we were full with other food that we couldn't afford to absorb another bowl of wan tan mee which looked nice. And we went back with a stomach filled, literally. =D
